Frank was born on April 9, 1909 in Chicago, Illinois. This is the only known baby picture of Frank. It looks like he couldn't decide if he liked his flower.

Frank was about nine years old when this picture was taken on a tennis court in Chicago, Illinois. Note the knickers and the ears!

This picture was taken in 1922 and shows a happy family: son Frank, mother Blanche, father Ambrose, daughter Eleanor and younger son Howard. Youngest son Ralph was born two years later. Ambrose and Blanche were divorced in 1932.

Frank graduated from St. Phillip Neri grade school in Indianapolis in 1924. This was part of his class picture.

Frank and Margaretta Elizabeth Leibel were married on June 30, 1938. A little over five years later, he was drafted by the U.S. Army during World War II. He was thirty-four years old.

Margaretta always said that the Army and the Navy could get along. After Frank was drafted, his brother Howard enlisted in the Navy.

One can really see the family resemblance in this picture of Frank and his mother, Blanche Eleanor Pearsall Hill.

After twelve years of marriage, Frank and Margaretta were blessed with a baby girl, Linda Suzanne Hill, born on September 12, 1950. This picture was taken about a year later when he was teaching his daughter how to walk.

One of the few family pictures showing Margaretta, Linda, and Frank. This picture was taken about 1955.

Always handy around the house, Frank could cook, clean and iron as well as doing minor plumbing and electrical jobs. He died on March 31, 1968, just two months before his daughter graduated from high school and three months before his thirtieth wedding anniversary.
