Bill served in the Army from May 1944 until 1946. In 1950 he was called back into the Army for 15 months. He then served in Kansas and then at Camp Atterbury near Columbus, Indiana.

Bill was about 7 or 8 years old. He loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs.

Education was very important to Bill. He graduated from Butler University with a BS Degree in Education. He later received his Masters from Indiana University.

This was Bill's Retirement Party. He retired in 1985 as Principal of School # 81 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Family outing at an Indianapolis restaurant. Bill loved to eat out and this was one way he treated the family to a dinner. It was in late summer just before school started in the fall.
