Family was important to Oneida. The family would often visit Frances' Cottage on Fox Lake, near Angola, Indiana.

Mary's mother, Nattie Hudson was a preachers wife and helped form Oneida's faith.

Frances, the oldest was also a teacher and helped raise her younger sisters Mildred and Oneida.
|
Mildred was an older sister but her and Oneida were close companions.
|
Oneida graduated from Butler University in 1974 with a Masters Degree in Science.She loved to teach!

All three of her sister also graduated from Butler University. Here Mildred is congratulating Oneida for her Bachelor of Arts in Education.
