Ellen's father and mother, John Howard Osborn and Leita Ardella Smith. Ellen was the first of their eight children.

Such a simple picture, capturing so much beauty. I think this may have been taken on the front steps of the farmhouse during Ellen's teenage years.

Here Ellen marries Charles R. Armstrong on December 23, 1950. A union made under God, a bond to never be broken.

Charles and Ellen starting their family. Here we have Mark, the oldest, Phil second born and the youngest at this point, Ross. There are two more blessing to come!

Here they are, the whole family. Truly Ellen's pride and joy. Charles is holding Susan, now the youngest and Ellen is holding Kent, second to youngest. From left to right are Philip, Ross and Mark.

Ellen and her brother Frank are together in this photo. Ellen's smile may be brighter than the sun shining upon them. We shall never forget the warmth of her smile.

Ellen among the leaves of green, enjoying a passion from her childhood on the farm. This will remain with her through the years, finding her out gardening.

It would appear, or we may assume that this is a photo of Ellen and Chuck dressing up for a humorous occasion (Halloween? Church function?) This picture is shared with you all to bring a memory of how they enjoyed good times and good laughs.

In this tribute to Ellen you see Chuck in a lot of these photos. They were each others everything. One could only hope to find a companion and best friend to the length of love these two shared for one another. Their love spread to those around them. Such comfort and warmth always felt in the presence of Chuck and Ellen.

In loving memory of Charles and Ellen Armstrong. We all miss and love you so! Till we meet again in Heaven, our thoughts will be with you.
