Joseph Edward Morton was 70 years old, married for thirty-eight years, served two years in the United States Army and worked twenty years for the City of Indianapolis. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was a lifetime member of the Eagles Lodge. He was a good father and a good provider for his family. He was a hard working and honest man that enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved fishing, telling a good joke and pulling pranks on people. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed spending quality time with his family. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten. We Love You Dad. |

This is a picture that Dad was very proud of and what he lived for.
He said he was the only man at the wedding, so therefore he was the best one.
Although he was not in the best of health. He was where he wanted to be. We all wish that he could be there one more time.
Here Dad was playing Santa Claus with grandchildren, he will be missed very much, but will be in our hearts forever.
At this time Dad knew the end was near. This was the last picture taken of Dad alive. He had his mother under his right arm and wife on left side. Although he has fallen but not forgotten.
