William Owens

Bill worked at Navistar for 35 years. Retired in Jan 1998. Bill was born September 28, 1941 in Evansville, Indiana. He attended Bossie High School. Bill was a good Father, Husband and Grandfather. Loved life and always was one to say "Everything going to be alright, don't worry about it life's to short to worry or be in a hurry all the time." He loved to go camping, boating, and sit by the campfire just relaxing. After becoming sick. Bill never gave up; he fought a long hard battle and not once complained about anything. He was always good to his step kids; never treated them any different; treated them just as good as his own kids. Even though he never saw his own kids much. But that didn't matter because we loved Bill just as much and maybe even more than his own. There was not a day that went by that we didn't see him or call to check on him and mom. He treated his grandkids very well. He loved all of us and would do anything for anyone. We love him and miss him alot.
