Veachel Nick Johnson

Veachel moved from Kentucky to Indianapolis, met and married Waneta. They lived in the same house for over 45 years. They were married for 41 years, had 6 children, 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.He worked as a laborer all his life, but he was known for so much more. He was Mr. Fixit to everyone who knew him. He was a carpenter, an electrician, a plumber and a mechanic. He was dependable, loyal, honest and respected.He was the man you could count on for anything you needed. Dad was a family man, although we had a big family no one got left behind. We all went together on vacations, shopping or a trip to Santa Claus land. He was a central figure in our lives and will always be remembered and loved. He left us way too soon.
