Valerie Turner

Valerie E. McCart Turner 34, New Palestine, died March 1, 2004, at her home. She was born Feb. 14, 1970 to the late Larry McCart and Ruth (Lear) McCart, who survives. She was a 1988 graduate of Lawrence High School and worked as a bookkeeper for Seals Ambulance Service, and worked at Wilking Music for 5 years. She is survived by her husband, Dan J. Turner; daughter Megan R. Turner; and son, Michael J. Turner; mother Ruth McCart; sisters, Marie Seals, April Brandt and Kelli Goad; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 5 at Oaklandon Christian Church, of which she was a member, with Rev. Dan Asche, officiating. Friends may call on Thursday, March 4 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
