Thomas Dean Whitted, Sr. age 73 of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a well-known jazz drummer throughout the Midwest, performing with Wes Montgomery, Freddy Hubbard, Jimmy Cole, Larry Liggett, as well as many other well-known jazz musicians. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps during the Korean Conflict, receiving his honorable discharge in 1952. He had been married to Virtue Hampton Whitted for fifty-years.
