Stephen C. Phipps

Stephen C. Phipps, 56, Avon, died Oct. 5, 2003. He was born Aug. 19, 1947. Mr. Phipps was a fork lift driver 25 years for GM. He has an Associates Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Phipps served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans - Chapter 3 and Calvary Temple. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Wed. Oct. 8 in Legacy Funeral Alternatives at Memorial Park, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Tues. Oct. 7. Survivors include wife Donna (Rhodes) Phipps; children, Michael Phipps, Kelsey Biddle, Jennifer Holmes; mother Wanda (Toney) Davis; sisters Lana Reid, Linda Davidson; brothers Mark Davis, Larry Phipps; and five grandchildren.
