Simply Loved
Not rich or famous or perfect by far
Just simply loved for he was our shinning star.
He was sent here to touch many lives along the way
To meet friends and family
And grace there lives each and everyday.
Cut short all to soon as God whisked him away
He was simply loved in everyway.
A father, brother and loved by his mother
Old friends, new friends he was simply a man.
No luxury living or new fancy cars
His hopes and dreams cut short all to far.
No spoon of silver or easy ways
There were many problems along the way
But a simple man going day to day.
God gave us all to short of time
And took him back, although he was mine.
Hearts broken and tears fell when we said goodbye
Why honey, oh why did you have to die?
God saw you suffering and your great pain
He took you to heaven
Where now you will rain.
Free from hurt or doing without
Free to run and laugh and shout.
God blessed our lives when you came in
Now you're in Heaven looking over family and friends
Simply loved till we meet again.
