Sgt. Major James "Sid" B. Coulson, Retired

James B. "Sid" Coulson Sgt. Major, Retired Age 76 of Indpls., died May 5, 2005. Sid was born Nov. 27, 1928, in Cowan, TN, to John W. and Lottie B. (Crick) Coulson, who preceded him in death. Sid retired in 1979 after serving 29 yrs. in the U.S. Army,he was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, VFW Post 261, American Legion 495, K of C #3228, the Culinary Arts Association, and he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Geraldine A. Coulson; daughter, Linda Hughett and is survived by daughters: Carla Elkins, Bernadine Smith; brothers: Howard and Glen Coulson; sisters: Marjorie Vann & Estelle Bozeman; seven grandchildren; and caregivers: Shelley (Kenny) Taylor and special canine friend, Poncho. Funeral services will be Saturday 10 a.m., (5-7-05) at Flanner & Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Center, where friends may call on Friday, (5-6-05) from 4 to 8 p.m. www.flannerbuchanan.com
