Salley A. Weaver

Sally E. Weaver, 63, passed away Aug. 24, 2003 at Community Hospital East, having waged a courageous battle against her cancer condition. Sally was born July 21, 1940 to Robert L. and Dorothy M. (Hendricks) Peters. She is survived by son Mark Weaver of Indianapolis; daughter Jill Weaver of Cumberland; five grandchildren Sally Amanda Weaver, Ashley Mae Weaver, Adam Lee Schutte, Kyle Weaver and Sabrina Weaver; great-grandchild Joshua Austin Weaver; sister Jennie (Jim) Gray of Murphy, NC; nephew Rick Gray. She was an account executive for 32 years with WIBC radio 1070 AM, a member of the Advertising Club of Indianapolis and American Women in Radio and Television. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 27 in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 26. Interment: Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial gifts have been suggested to the American Cancer Society.
