Robert W. Isley, 84, Indianapolis, died Feb. 9, 2003. He was born Dec. 26, 1918. Mr. Isley worked 45 years for General Motors, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Speedway Masonic Lodge 729, Grand Lodge, Masons of Indiana, Murat Temple, Valley of Indianapolis, Ancient Scottish Rite, N,M,J, Model T Ford Club, Mercedes Benz Club. Mr. Isley was an Army veteran of World War II. Services will be 10 a.m. Thurs. Feb. 13 in Stevens Mortuary, with calling from 5 to 8 p.m. Wed. Feb. 12. He was preceded in death by former wife Thelma Lee Isley. Survivors include wife Norma Wiley Oppenlander Isley; stepsons Frederick, Benjamin, & Christopher Oppenlander; daughter and son-in-law Marie and Reg Bass; stepdaughters Julie Tipton, Emily Angle; sisters Evelyn Medlock, Thelma Grundner; brother John Isley; one granddaughter; 13 stepgrandchi
