Robert Corey

Robert Corey was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 29, 1924 to Rollie W. and Myrtle Harris Corey. Robert was one of ten children, four boys and six girls. He lived in the Indianapolis area his entire childhood and adulthood.On April 25, 1943, Robert married Mary Hansen and he was a devoted husband for 61 years. Bob and Mary had three children, Robert S. Corey (Sue Gill), Sharon Corey Marquart (Mike Marquart) and Tim Corey (Cheryl Ring). They have 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.Robert worked for several companies including Woods Electric, Harvester and The U.S. Envelope Co. He retired as Plant Manager at Prosclean Chemical Co. in 1987.Robert was an avid fisherman and spent many vacations and free hours enjoying his hobby. Robert and Mary traveled extensively around the US after retirement. Robert's greatest legacy was his love and devotion of his family.
