Our dear sweet Mama, Mom and Wife. The legacy you leave behind.Born in and raised in Italy. I can't help but wonder how difficult it must have been for you to have lived in Italy during the war, seeing what you saw. The first bride in your town to marry an American soldier, how exciting. How hard it was for you to leave your family, your heritage, but you left it behind and came to a different country, culture, and language to start a new life with your husband. You were such a strong lady and I admire you. Such beauty and grace, you showed your love daily. You were a devoted, loving and caring wife for almost 57 years. You raised 4 girls, what a struggle that must have been but we would never guess for it showed always that we were your whole life. You became our best friend, and it's those times together that I will treasure. The love and gentleness you had with your family will live forever. That is why you lived, for your husband and children. The last words that you were able to speak will hold dear to me, "How's Jack" so much like you, to be concerned for the only man in your life. He was your life and it showed. Losing two of your girls to the Lord, you still remained strong, for you showed us early in life the love for Christ and living for our Lord was so important and I treasure that. He is our comfort and strength. I will always remember how you had us read bible scriptures to teach is God's way when we would do something wrong. Such strong moral values were taught and showed in our home and for that I feel privileged and honored that I was raised with such wonderful and devoted parents. That will always live on as we raise our children and grandchildren.Everyone that met you would say what a sweet caring lady you were. A kind spirit, My Angel Mama tat was the name I gave you, and that you were. You left behind a husband, 2 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. But the most important thing you left was your legacy that will live on forever through the lives that you touched through the years. Thank you my sweet Mama we Love You!You will be missed deeply, but because of JESUS, I know that we will see you again. That is the comfort that we will hold on to. In Christ there are no Good-byes.
