Michael Kevin Coy

Michael was born in New Albany, Indiana on October 25, 1951. The family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1953. As a child, Michael loved music and as an adult became quite the music aficionado of all types of music. Michael graduated from Shortridge High School and one of his classmates was the son of jazz great Wes Montgomery and Michael was a huge fan of his, as well as other artists.Michael loved being around his brothers and sisters and especially loved when brother Jack would let him drive his prize GTO car! Michael loved his mother, Marie, and she recalls how during a severe Indianapolis blizzard n the early 1960's. He shoveled chest high snow for seven blocks from their home to the bus stop and waited for her so she could get home safely from work.His love, laugh and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
