Margaret Julia Hasselberg Jarrett

December 11, 1898 — November 3, 1963

Daughter of Caroline Robbins and Henry Hasselberg, Julia lost her mother at age 13 to pleurisy, one of nine children, she married Clyde Jarrett August 7, 1915. After losing her 7-month-old daughter, Margaret May to Pneumonia then her 12-year-old daughter, Fanny Louise to appendicitis during the depression years, Julia became a Jehovah's Witness. Julia's faith helped her through her daughter Laverne's battle with polio and her son John's 26-month incarceration in a German Prison of War Camp, during World War 2. Julia gave her time and many memories for her above children and her children William and Elnora, even though she was very poor throughout her life and led a very hard life, the memories her daughter Elnora repeated of her mother were very warm and rich.
