On May 12th, 1961 Margaret Diane Harper was born to Cecil and Waldine Ammons in Brandenburg Ky.
She met and married the love of her life, Daniel R. Harper while he was stationed in Ft. Campbell, Ky. They were married on Dec. 16, 1977.
For the first 6 years of their marriage she would pack her bags and move without ever complaining when Danny was transferred. Prior to their marriage she had never left the state of Kentucky. During their early years she went with Danny to places such as Alaska, Mexico, Colorado, and more.
Diane believed in true Southern hospitality. She never let anyone leave her house hungry. And everyone was always welcome.
It was in her nature to nurture people. It was nothing to see her taking care of children, whether her own or someone elses, she loved them all the same.
Family was important to Diane. Her ideal day was one spent surrounded by her loved ones. To the end she loved her husband and her family with her whole heart.
She was loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. While we mourn her death, more so do we celebrate her life.
Wife, Mother, Grandma, We Love You.
