Lora T. Wilson

December 29, 1895 — February 4, 1967

Born 12/29/1896 - 02/04/1967 Lora was a woman of honor and pride, enjoyed living and never met a stranger. Her life was simple, but very fulfilled with her social life and her family. She became a single mother to her children, Florence Wanda and Paul. With Lora's determination and gratitude for life's gifts, she made a good life for her family.I knew her best as 'Moy' my grandmother. She was a sweet grandmother, full of life and always having fun. She would never come to visit without something in a big brown bag. Sometimes it would be Buttermilk cookies from Roselyn bakery, fresh fruit from the City Market or a dozen or two of fresh yeast donuts from Longs Bakery. When I see the Christmas lights downtown or if I need your help in making it through life's high hurdles, I still feel you are here with me.'Moy', we all miss you deeply and think of you often. You left us too soon but you gave us a strong foundation for walking through life and living it. We love you so much and miss you....
