Jordan W. Tipton

Jordan W. "Buddy" Tipton, 68, Indianapolis, died Feb. 9, 2003. He was maintenance worker 15 years for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1996. Mr. Tipton was a member of Grace Apostolic Church. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict. Services: noon Sat. Feb. 15 in Oasis of Hope Baptist Church, with calling from 10 a.m. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Survivors include wife Ruby Shepherd Tipton; sons Lyndal, Kevin, Derrick Tipton and Jamie Motley; daughters Vickie Washington and Stachia Pendergrass; brother Avery Tipton; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; host of other family, relatives and friends.
