Jerald E. Bogardus

Jerald Bogardus was born September 8, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He grew up in Greenwood, Indiana. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1961. In 1963 he married his first wife, Juanita West. Jerry had two children by her, Trinette and Marty. They divorced in 1973, leaving him with the custody of the two children. In 1974, Jerry met Sarah Deiwert Perkins, after a short courtship they married. Sarah had two children by her first, Debbie and Tony.Jerry was a wonderful husband and father. He never showed partiality between the children, he loved them equally. Jerry enjoyed helping the grandchildren with any project they might have. He let them help him out in his woodwork shop. Jerry enjoyed his hobbies of woodworking, fishing, swimming and darts with his family. Jerry was a kind and gentle man that loved to laugh.
