James Ollie Ward

Ollie, as everyone called him was born in Pittsboro, Indiana. He was the first four-year class to graduate from Arsenal Tech High School. As a young man he played many sports. He played for the Ferndale Athletics, "Strauss Says", and with the Emerichville Teams. He met his wife, Lettie McCracken at Bismark Christian Church, later they attended 8th Christian Church where they both were active. He and Lettie were very active in the Puritan, Odd Fellows Lodge. He retired from Crane County Plumbing in 1962.
