Jacob Wells Easton Jr.

March 6, 1876 — November 17, 1947

On his application for a marriage license to Lula Branaman dated in 1904, he listed his present occupation as a dairyman. In later life Jacob with his wife, he ran the telephone and lines and his wife operated the switchboard.Jacob was quite apt with poetry. A poem found dated September 7, 1895 to friend "Lulie" says: True love is a golden chain,that lends heart to heart,and not one link of it will break,when lovers have to part.Signed J.W. Easton, Jr. They were married on July 19. 1904.Jacob was a devoted family man.
