Isabelle E. Hankins Wolfe Allen

Isabelle. Hankins Wolfe Allen was born August 26, 1915 in Vevay, Indiana and died at home March 24, 2003. Her son, Charles Wolfe, his wife, Marjorie Wolfe and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, survives Isie.Isie was raised in Vevay, Indiana along with her brother Vernon Hankins. They came to Southport, Indiana when her parents divorced. Isie graduated from Southport High School IN 1934. She worked on the school yearbook and attended several class reunions.Isie married Edward Wolfe. They had a child, Charles Wolfe. Isie divorced and later married Kenneth "Pete" Allen. She worked in many different occupations, waitress, cashier, clerk and housewife.Isie held various offices in the women of the Moose Auxiliary until her health interred. Isie became a Christian in 195 and joined the Southport Baptist Church where she was an active member until her death.
