Henry Clarence Keith

Henry Clarence Keith was born just outside of Danville, Indiana, September 24, 1877, but he was raised in Indianapolis. Clarence was a wonderful father and grandfather. His wife, Susie passed away when his youngest child had just turned five. He had to be both mother and father for his children. He did a great job with a little help from his eldest daughter Irene. He had one son Erwin, by his first wife. He married Susie Lavaughn on November 24, 1910. They had seven children, Evan, Irene, Florene, Laverne, Patricia, Edgar and a baby girl.He had been employed at the Indianapolis Bleaching Company for fifty years, where he was the supervisor. Everyone loved dad and still greatly missed. He died on May 24, 1961.
