Helen M. Brockman Hicks

Helen Brockman Hicks was born September 16, 1911 in Batesville, Indiana and moved to Indianapolis in 1919. She attended PS School 15 and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1928 at age 16. She went to Indiana Business College and worked for Central Indiana Coal Company, Merchants Bank and the Post Office as a secretary. She married Harlan Hicks on June 18, 1940 at Zion Evangelical Church. . She was involved in SAR Conventions and Postal and Shriners. She was in charge of many wedding receptions at church.
