F. Jean Fuller Ballew

Jean graduated in 1946 from Shortridge High School in Indianapolis, IN. She recieved her BA (Sociology) from Perdue in 1951. She worked as a caseworker for the Marion County Welfare Dept. for 9 Months. Jean was a fulltime mother until starting as a Teachers Aide at the Indiana School for the Blind in 1976. She worked with grades pre-kindergarten thru second and as a Library Assistant. Fifteen years later she retired and became a volunteer receptionist in the surgery waiting room of St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN where she still is active (1999).
