Evelyn Anna Shilling

October 7, 1935 — February 10, 2002

To Mom, A mother that I will always love and respect. You have been there for me always, even when it was not that easy to be proud of me. I can not even start to tell you all the little things you did that made me what I am. Maybe the one most important thing would be the love and the truth you both have always showed me, even during the not so good times, that we all have. I will always try to make you proud of me in the things I do. I hope that I can be the parent that you and Dad have been to me. Know that I think you always did the best you could and in my mind, you both are the best I could have had. That makes my love for the both of you even stronger and my desire to do better at it myself. I know that Julie and I will not let you down with your grandkids. Mom, know that I will be there for Dad when needed. I know that there have been a lot of days that I have not shown you both my feelings when I should have, but I could not have been prouder of you both.Love always,Your son,Mark
