Elsie Marie Long Martin

Elsie was born to Thomas Donald and Josephine Long on October 30, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has lived in Indiana all her life. She grew up on the Southwest/West side of Indianapolis. On April 30, 1994, she married Donald Joe Martin. Elsie and her sister Melissa married brothers. Elsie and Donald moved to the northwest side of Indianapolis. Elsie worked in the retail business. She and Donald became pregnant and expecting their first baby in June 1997. Cheyenne Marie Martin was born on June 20, 1997.Elsie was an avid collector of Mary Moo Moo's. She loved to read Stephen King books and cooking new recipes from her cookbooks.Elsie's latest job before passing was working at a daycare. She loved working there with the children and loved working with the people that had hired her.Elsie was such a pleasure to have around. Those that knew her either liked or loved her. She had such a pleasant personality.Elsie's favorite past times are playing board games with her nieces and nephews at the holidays.She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and those that knew her.
