Edward F. Gasper

Edward Gasper 75, passed away May 24, 2004 after a brief illness. He was a life long resident of Indianapolis, graduating from Shortridge High School. He attended Butler University and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Edward had been owner and President of E.F. Gasper Lumber Sales, Inc. for 48 years before retiring in 1999. He was a member of the American and Indianapolis Rose Societies. Survivors include: his wife of 53 years, Joan; sons, Wayne (Cindy), Rick (Sue) and Alan (Brenda); daughter, Debbie (Jack) Pehler; and 5 grandsons, Matt, Chris, Dan, Addison and Sutton Gasper. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 27 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center - Washington Park North with calling from 10 a.m. until services. Entombment: Washington Park North Mausoleum.
