Edgar L. Nelson

Edgar L. Nelson, 86, of Indianapolis, died August 1, 2003. Mr. Nelson was a public accountant and worked at William G. Nelson Accounting firm. Mr. Nelson served in the Navy during WWII. He was a 32nd degree mason, a member of the Scottish Rite Cathedral and attended the First Baptist Church of Carmel, IN. Mr. Nelson was a member of the Indiana Society of Public Accountants and was an alumni of Butler University. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral service will be Friday, August 8, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center - Broad Ripple. Visitation Thursday, August 7, 2003 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary. He is the widower of Betty J. Ronk Nelson. Survivors include his daughter, Dorothy J. Linton; brother William G. Nelson and on grandson, Matthew S. Linton. www.flanner-buchanan.com.
