May 31, 1918 — December 18, 2001

Donald and I were married in August 25, 1939. We had eight children 5 boys and 3 girls. Donald went into the Army from November 25, 1944 to February 8, 1946. Donald was in the 128th Infantry Private First Class. Donald served in Asia and the Pacific in World War 2. Donald operated an M-one rifle in combat in enemy territory. He was given an honorable discharge February 8, 1946. They say, old soldiers never die they just fade away. Donald loved Las Vegas. We took many trips their before his retirement in April, 1980. We had a son who lived in Las Vegas, so we had a place to stay while visiting. Donald drove a truck all his life. Donald hated to have his picture taken. He loved to fish, be outdoors and would hunt all day. Donald didn't like to be with people he was a loner.
