Debbie and her twin brother Daniel were born on March 11, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a child and on into adulthood she had a great zest for learning and always wanted to know the "why" of things. She graduated from Warren Central High School in 1980. Debbie had a great tenacity for life and loved people. She was always more concerned about other peoples problems than her own. She had a loving heart and a great sense of humor. As a young woman, Debbie lived at New Hope of Indiana for twelve years and then moved to Windsor Court Apartment Group Home and lived there nine years. She had many friends at both facilities and was always concerned about helping other handicapped people. She enjoyed going to the Bradford Woods Camp for the handicapped and attended for thirty-three years. She loved everything about camp, swimming, hiking, the weenie-roasts and making new friends and catching up with old friends. Debbie worked at Goodwill Industries for nine years and belonged to Trinity Fellowship for thirty years. She especially enjoyed the bible discussions. To know Debbie was to love her and she will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
