For my David. Youre my Honey,
David was an obedient humble servant of the Lord. He was a loving son, great brother, and a fantastic uncle. He was devoted father to five children, Kyle, Katherine, Kristen, Joshua and Ai. Ai is a daughter-in-law and would be considered a daughter. He was a wonderful husband in whom I respect, for he knew no limits. He was my best friend.
The most important role that he had was being the son of God. It was evident in his daily work and walk. David was loved and respected by not only his co-workers, and staff but his patients as well. David knew that relationships were the truly important things, not the actual work itself. He took time no matter how busy he was to listen. He knew how to be content in the moment.
David allowed God to change him into the David he had planned for from the beginning. David loved his church, Jesus the Messiah. It was through this church that we went on a mission trip to Nias, an island in Indonesia. This trip forever changed the both of us.
David was so looking forward to the youth center that is to be built there. He loved to coach and play soccer and he wanted to bring this talent to the center as well.
David was selfless, humble, and obedient. He died on July 29, 2006 and was able to donate his organs to others. His giving continued even after departing this earth. The seed must die in order to bring forth fruit. The stronger the seed, the more fruitful the harvest.
We miss him but are fully aware that David is in the presence of our Lord most high.
Love,
Your devoted wife Vicki
