Cora Elizabeth Duncan, Summers 84, formerly of Greenwood, died Feb. 28, 2003 in her daughter's home in Elizabethtown, KY. She worked for Eli Lilly Company for 34 years retiring in Dec. of 1978. Member of Tunnel Hill Baptist Church, Elizabethtown, KY, Ladies Moose Lodge Belview, FL, and an avid bowler in IN, FL and KY. Preceded in death by husband John D. Summers, parents Grover C. and Grace D. Funkhouser Duncan and sister Helen Ward. Mrs. Summers is survived by children Brent Summers, Brenda Beavers and Rhonda Thomas. Brothers Lowell and Carl Duncan, sisters Hallie Alspaugh and Marjorie Surface Lafary. Eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Services Tue. March 3rd, 1:30 p.m., Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove, with calling Mon., March 2nd, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment: Washington Park East Cemetery.
