Billy J. Lewis

Billy J. Lewis 65, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2004. Mr. Lewis was born in Dione, Kentucky July 15, 1938. He worked at Navistar in Assembly, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church and the UAW Local #98. Survivors include his wife, Doris J. (Cole) Lewis; children, Jennifer Howard, William Alan Lewis; brothers, Sam and Paul Lewis; sisters, Kathryn Mills, Wilma Fields, Betty Walters; mother, M. Edna (Noe) Lewis and one grandchild. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13 in Legacy Funeral Alternatives at Memorial Park, with calling 12 to 2 p.m. on Thursday. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society.
