Bernard Miller

Bernard C. "Bernie" Miller 59 of Indianapolis, died April 11, 2004. He was a grinder -polisher for Shuron Continental Optical for five years, lastly he worked as a CSR for Mediq Life Support Services for almost five years. Bernard was an avid "Fast Walker" for various mini marathons. He is survived by his children Kenneth L., Kevin C. Miller, and Jason M. Gertchen, Vivian K. Yeary, and Patricia A. Bills; mother Gloria Helms; sister Susan E. Miller; brothers Dennis L., Thomas A. and James K. Helms; 11 grandchildren; and his companion, Janie Howell. Funeral services will be held Wed. 2 p.m., Apr. 14, 2004 at Legacy Funeral Alternatives at Memorial Park, with visitation Tue. from 5 to 8 p.m. and 12 Noon on Wed. before the services. Burial: Washington Park East Cemetery. Contributions made to: New Hope Hospice Center.
