Anna Frances Chamberlin Meyer

June 6, 1909 — March 15, 1939

Our mother, Frances, was a beautiful. Loving, shy woman. She fell in love with her high school sweetheart and married Richard Henry Meyer in 1930. Lulu B. Chamberlin, her mother, made her wedding dress. Richard and Frances were married at their own home on Tibbs Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. In December 1934 they brought a son home there. Richard Dale Meyer was the first born grandchild in the Meyer family. Two years later Carol Frances Meyer would join them. Soon after Frances became ill. Her life was cut short due to breast and lung cancer. Although she fought it bravely, and prayed o lived to raise her babies, her battle was lost March 1939. The funeral was held in her home where her loving husband and small children said their tearful goodbyes. She was greatly loved and has been missed for too many years. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren would have loved to know her. Until we meet again, Mother.Love, Carol and Dick.
