Alma Winifred Ragan Harris

Alma was born in Danville, Indiana December 13, 1901. She was one of seven children. She came to Indianapolis where she went to work at Link Belt Company in 1916 and retired in 1943. It was there she met her husband, William A. Harris and they were married February 26, 1920. From this union there were three children, Charles R., Marjorie F. and Betty W.; she also had another child, Wilma J. Her husband died October 1926 and Alma raised her children alone. At the time of her death, she had two grandchildren.
