Adele L. Dorosh, 88, of Carmel, passed away January 12, 2004. She was born August 13, 1915 to the late Rev. Franz & Adele Biewend Willer in Easthampton, MA. Her early years were spent in Easthampton. Her family moved to Fort Wayne, IN a year before moving to Columbia Heights, MN in 1930.After high school graduation, she was employed as a hospital nurses aid. During WWII years, she was employed at Electric Machinery in Columbia Heights, engaged highly in defense equipment production. During those years, Adele also served as organist, choir director and soloist at Columbia Heights Lutheran Church.In 1946, she married Michael Dorosh. Subsequently business requirements required living in the New York City, Minneapolis and Chicago areas, and retirement in Carmel, IN. Adele remained active in the Lutheran church, engaged in music and volunteered in numerous church committees until retirement.Funeral services were held Thursday, January 15, at 11 a.m. in Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center - Hamilton Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband, Michael Dorosh; children, Susan Erickson, Milwaukee, WI, Robert Dorosh, Carmel, Kathleen Mackey, Carmel and Michael Jon Dorosh, Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Ryan Mackey, Kerry Griffith, Nathan and Amy Erickson.
