| Art McGrath was a loving husband and father. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He married Lorraine Copeland. After serving his country in the U.S. Army Occupation Forces in Japan following World War II, he worked for General Motors. His only child, Michael, was born in 1948. Art was transferred to Delco Radio of GM in Kokomo, Indiana, in 1962, from which he retired in 1974. He and Lorraine then moved to Hollywood, Florida, and after several years they relocated to Punta Gorda, Florida, where Art enjoyed bicycle riding, clock making, and "puttering." |
