| Mary passed away 2/24/1967, she was 86 yrs. old. She was married to John Renner in 1898 who passed away in 1923. Mary remarried in 1926 to William Taylor Dugan who passed away in 1961. She had five children, Albert Edward Renner, Mary Rachel Renner Thompson Robbins, John Emery Renner, Earl Henry Renner and William Taylor Dugan Niel. Mary and Bill adopted William Taylor around 1944. She had two step children by John Renner, Luada Renner and Charles Fred Renner. She had 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Mary was a devout Christian as was her husband, Bill. They attended the Westside Church of the Nazarene, 8610 W. 10th St. in Indianapolis, IN. Bill drove the church bus for many years and Mary taught Sunday School. Mary was a kind, thoughtful and sweet person. I remember her always having molasses cookies and horehound candy when we would go to see her. She was a very loving grandmother and we all thought she was one of a kind. She had the ability to make each one of us feel we were very special. |

Granny's son, William Taylor Dugan born in 1934. Mary & Bill adopted William in 1944. William changed his last name to Niel when he became an adult.
