John was a kind and caring man. He was a wonderful husband and father. He was always there for his girls and never missed a school function or program they were in. He was a hard worker; working overtime so his wife could stay home with their children while they were young. He helped out in the community with the Halloween Hike at their local park so the kids could have a safe Halloween. He was always willing to help anyone with anything and always made sure people were having a good time. He volunteered his home for a family reunion so our family could all get together again. He always thought of helping and doing for others before himself. He will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

John loved fishing and camping. This is one of the many fish he caught.

John coached girls baseball in 1981. This was taken at their picnic and the girls got to dunk the coach.

John's favorite holiday was Halloween. He helped every year at Mooresville's Halloween Hike, so the kids in the community could have a safe Halloween.

Mother's Day, John is helping do the dishes with his oldest daughter Michele. The other lady is Evelyn, his youngest daughter's mother in law.

Kristi is John's youngest daughter. They are dancing at her wedding on 11/7/1998. John always made sure everyone had a good time and had plenty to eat.

John is kissing grandson Billy on Halloween in 1999. Billy wasn't sure if he liked being dressed up in costume.

John loved to bake. He is helping his wife Bonnie make Christmas cookies. Looks like he ate a few too.

This was the last family picture taken when John got sick. He loved being with his family.

John was so proud of his first grandson Billy. Billy was his pride and joy, especially since he had 2 daughters and 0 sons.
