Alis Jenile Weddle was born in Seymour, IN and moved to Indianapolis at age ten. She attended Arsenal Technical High School. Soon after graduation she met Francis Weddle and they began dating. They were married on 7/22/1939. The remainder of her life was largely devoted to her daughters Janet and Jenile, and her grandchildren Amy, Kelly and Debbie. She was an avid bowler and bridge player. Alis is remembered as a kind, gentle and loving person. She was a life long member of the First Christian Church in Bargersville, IN. |
