July 1943 Catherine married Clyde. It was the beginning of 56 great years of marriage.

A short time later, Clyde and Catherine adopt a son and named him William. He is only a few days old here.

Catherine and Clyde are pictured here in on of many publications celebrating her creativity and sense of adventure. Featured here in an Allison publication.

Kay was the first woman appointed to the International Fire Photographers Association, and the first Master Fire Photographer. She lead the way for other women to showcase their talents.

Catherine was so proud of her accomplishments with the IFPA.

Wayne Twp. Fire Dept. awarded Catherine her first car.

Kay loved the outdoors and shared her husbands passion for fishing.

Well known at the speedway, Catherine hit the Florida Road in a 3 wheeler.

So much vision and promise, a poet, writer, teacher, mother and wife.

Adventures mastered, examples set and shared, appreciative of each other and proud to share 56 years with Clyde. She never changed much since day one!
