| Wayne was a very loving and devoted family oriented person. He received the Purple Heart while serving the country he loved in W.W.II from 9/26/1942 through 12/23/1944. He loved a good conversation and made friends with all he met. He liked to show his sense of humor with a quick witty response or an occasional tease. Wayne was a man that put the needs and feelings of his family far ahead of his own. He supported his family in all endeavors and allowed them to learn from their own mistakes and yet he was always there for them. |
