Frances Adams Baldwin was born in Glenn, Georgia (Heard County). Frances went to school in La Grange, Georgia and graduated from La Grange High School and La Grange Business College. After graduation she was employed as a bookkeeper in La Grange. In December of 1944 she married Harold H. Baldwin and in 1945 she moved to Kokomo, Indiana and worked as a bookkeeper for the Humphry Printing Co. until her son, Michael, was born on July 11, 1947. In May of 1952 she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. She worked in the Warren Central High School Cafeteria from 1965-1975.

Frances loved the outdoors and spent many happy days camping, hiking and picnicking with her family and friends. She loved animals and birds and kept her bird feeders full year round. She loved gardening and was always surrounded by flowers. In the spring the planting of her flowers was an annual event. Her hanging plants were always in sight, summer and winter. She loved the dogwoods and the red buds in the spring and the beautiful foliage of autumn. She played the piano and loved music. Frances was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was dearly loved and will live on in the memories of all who knew her.
