| Robert Eugene Amos Sr. was born March 5, 1927 at St. Vincents Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. His mother was Florence Baglan and father was Floyd Amos. He married Rovena Rainwater in 1950. They lived in Port Orchard, Washington and San Diego, Long Beach and Oakland, California where Robert Jr. was born. After serving his duty in the Navy they returned to Indianapolis and Randall Earl was born. He retired from P.R. Mallory after 48 years of service. He loved sports, cars and motorcycles. A friend honored him by riding his motorcycle in the procession to the cemetery. He enjoyed the Indy 500 race and worked in May at the track for 8 years. He was looking forward to the Formula One race. Summer weekends you could find him water skiing at Cataract Lake. |
