| Bob was born in Speedwell, Kentucky and raised at the Berryman farm by his aunts and uncle. He was a good student enjoying Math, English and Shakespeare. He attended the University of Kentucky. Bob was an airplane crew chief in W.W.II. Bob and Thelma moved to Indianapolis from Lexington, Kentucky in 1947 and attended the Anderson denomination Church of God. When he became a Christian he said that he felt like leaping over the pews. He worked for 20 years at Best Lock Company. Bob was a gentle and reserve man, but good with words when he spoke and wrote. He was a good father with high moral standards. Some family information: brothers, Owen Stivers was born in Madison County KY and is buried in Indianapolis, IN, Dillard Berryman was born in Madison County KY and died in Indianapolis, IN; sisters: Mary Dillard and Florence Milton are both of Madison County KY. |

Bob was a student at Speedwell High School. He read Shakespeare with an oil lamp. He tested out of two grades and graduated at age 16.

During W.W.II Bob was a crew chief on the airplanes. He flew missions over the hump into India.

Here Bob is 44 yrs. old. His favorite Shakespeare saying: Life is real, life is earnest and the grave is not it's goal. Dust thou art, to dust returneth, was not spoken of the soul.
